Trail Mix Cookies Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

• 1 c. sugar
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 c. margarine
• 1/2 c. shortening
• 1/2 c. oats
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 2 c. all-purpose flour
• 3/4 c. oat bran & 1/4 c. wheat germ
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 c. peanut butte
• 1 c. peanuts
• 3/4 c. raisins

Directions

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Beat sugars, butter and shortening in large bowl until creamy and well blended.
3. Beat in vanilla, eggs, then add oats, oat bran and wheat germ.
4. Then stir in flour, baking powder and soda thoroughly.
5. Drop rounded tablespoon about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Flatten slightly. Bake 9 to 12 minutes.
